Tairunnesa Memorial Medical College & Hospital

Tairunnesa Memorial Medical College & Hospital is located in Gazipur, Bangladesh. It was founded in 2002 by Mohammad Samsul Hoque and named after his mother, Marhuma Tairunnesa, a social worker. TMMC is a renowned institute dedicated to provid high-quality medical education and healthcare services. TMMC is affiliated with Dhaka University and accredited by the Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council (BMDC) as well as the World Health Organization (WHO) and the National Medical Commission (NMC), ensuring its degrees recognized globally. Additionally, TMMC is listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools.
TMMC has approximately 700 students, including those from Nepal and India. The hospital has expanded to 600 beds and provides 24-hour emergency service with additional trauma centers, EPI, etc. By December 2023, approximately 1,000 MBBS doctors have graduated. The college is located 10 kilometers from Shahjalal International Airport.
